Activist/Volunteers Needed:

Chapter Secretary: Travel to wonderful Northern California towns and utilize your organizational talents. Work from a laptop or by hand. Be at the pulse of every action the Redwood Chapter explores. 8-14 hours per month depending on transcription time and capabilities. No previous experience necessary. This is a fun and exciting opportunity!

Tabling Pool: Are you interested in relaxed afternoons chatting with people who want to learn more about the Sierra Club? Then volunteer one afternoon a month (or every other month) throughout the spring and summer to table for the Sierra Club at an event. The more people involved, the more we can educate others. This is a good activity to do with your family, friend or partner. 2-4 hours per month.

Water Committee Members: Newest committee forming and this is an exciting one! They will meet on the third Monday of each month. The kickoff meeting will be March 17th at 6pm at the Environmental Center. Possible issues to address include: watershed protection for rivers and streams, the General Plan Water Element, Santa Rosa wastewater discharge options, ocean protection, water privatization, water conservation and green technologies and green choices, etc. Please join us.
