Fish Friendly Farming in Sonoma County

Fish Friendly Farming Program's Objectives:

  • Implementation of Beneficial Management Practices, sustainable agriculture and ecosystems
  • Improved water quality and fish and wildlife habitat
  • Voluntary compliance with the Clean Water and Endangered Species Acts
  • Implementation of restoration and soil erosion control projects
  • Expansion of community awareness of responsible management practices by grapegrowers
  • Use of the Fish Friendly Farming name and logo at the tasting room and vineyard to advertise the eco-friendly practices of the owner/winery
