Redwood Chapter Seeks Membership Chair | |

We are looking for a new volunteer to take on the role of Redwood Chapter Membership Chair. Our current Membership Chair, Genie McKenzie, is interested in focusing on some other Sierra Club volunteer activities. There are a lot of great ideas and opportunities for membership development that require the energy and attention of an enthusiastic and organized volunteer. We hope that you will consider volunteering for this position. We envision the following responsibilities as part of the role of the Chapter Membership Chair: Welcome new members and match their interests with Club Activities and Committees. One way to accomplish this is through our New Member Survey. Members who express an interest in certain activities or issues through the survey can then be connected to specific club activites or Committees. |
Develop and Implement a New Member Contact Plan. A plan has been drafted by Sonoma Group. We think that many components of this plan would work well Chapter-wide. Keep in touch with Group Membership Chairs. We would like to encourage more information-sharing among our Group Membership Chairs and the Chapter.
