2005 Chapter Appeal Underway!

Melanie Matway
2005 Fund Appeal Coordinator

This year's annual fundraising letter has just gone out. Look for it in the mail. It is your once-a-year opportunity to help Sierra Club's Redwood Chapter and its Groups on a local level because any donation you make stays within the Chapter and is shared with your local Group.

You may make either a tax-deductible or a non-deductible donation. And no amount is too small. Contributions go toward mailings and other means of educating members, environmental studies, and legal actions in support of Group and Chapter conservation priorities including:

  • Passage of the Northern California Wild Heritage Wilderness Act of 2005
  • Stopping Forestland Conversions to Vineyards
  • Preserving North Coast Fisheries and Forests
  • Protection of Rivers, Lakes and Public Water Supplies

Your mailing will describe the environmental issues Redwood Chapter and your Group are working on and how your generosity will allow us to fund these most important conservation priorities.

You will also have the opportunity to sign up for our E-mail Alerts to receive information on local environmental events and quickly developing issues via e-mail.

Or, if you would like to get involved with your local Group, let us know by checking the reply card's contact box.

This is the one time per year that Redwood Chapter calls on members for financial support toward the funding of its local environmental agenda. Whatever you give will greatly benefit our efforts and be deeply appreciated. PLEASE help by making your most generous contribution. We cannot succeed without you!
