Gravel Mining "Lead" or Researcher: Do you love the Russian River or are you interested inprotecting our water quality for people, wildlife and fish? Please volunteer to help the Water Committee and/or Conservation Committee with gravel mining issues in our county. We need your help! Training provided. 2-10 hours per month required. Sonoma Group Environmental Forum Committee Member: Help plan the monthly meetings for the Sierra Club. Plan speakers and programs. Create newsletter write ups and meet exciting environmental advocates throughout our community. 3-6 hours per month, including 3 hours every third Wednesday of the month (except August and December).
