River Appreciation Festival - September 19, 1998

Friends of the Russian River (FORR), Environmental Forum and Sonoma County Conservation Council (SCCC) are pleased to announce the Sixth River Appreciation Festival at Hop Kiln Winery, Saturday, Sept. 19, 1998, 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. The celebration will include wine tasting of river area wineries, a delicious barbecue dinner of local products, educational booths and displays, live music, appearances by elected officials and aspirants, and a silent auction. Hikes to the River will be an option.

Proceeds will benefit the Environmental Forum's Russian River educational series, FORR's efforts to protect and restore the Russian River and SCCC's operation of the downtown Santa Rosa Environmental Center of Sonoma County, a resource and information center open to the public.

Reservations for the event are $25 in advance or $30 at the door (if not sold out). Sponsorships are $100 (admit 2), $250 (admit 4) and $500 (admit 6). Reservations can be made by mailing a check payable to SCCC to P.O. Box 4346, Santa Rosa, CA 95402. Advance purchase checks must be received by September 14. Tickets will be held at the door.
