Currently Sonoma County faces a serious shortfall in funding for transportation maintenance, improvements and expansion due to gigantic statewide budgetary problems. But we also confront enormous transportation problems congestion, poor public transit, a publicly owned rail line without funding for passenger rail all in a county where we want to minimize sprawl.

Jake Mackenzie has been in the center of efforts to address these issues for a decade or more. Come hear how environmentalists can protect the environment and deal with these issues.

Call 544-7651 for more information. All Sierra Club members and the general public are invited.

Sorry, no Environmental Forum in December.
