Want to wish all of you a happy holiday season. I want to remind you that we have a winter hut schedule in this issue. The trips fill up fast so don't delay making your reservation. We need more winter leaders and you start by coming on a winter trip to familiarize yourself with the route. Our winter leaders deserve a thank you for the coordination it takes to run winter trips. The weather this summer was off. We had some summer in spring and then winter in summer. Sonoma County finally had some nice weather in October. The Sierra already had snow in October. So these are all challenges to leading outings. |
I want to thank all the Redwood Chapter leaders for their time and devotion to bringing people outdoors. If you would like to become a leader just call your Outings Chair for the next training. Please call if you would like to help organize leaders in the Ukiah area. |
