The County Conservation Council, of which the Sierra Club is a member, is sponsoring a series of monthly presentations about and by past environmental leaders and their contribution to the future of the County.

On Sunday, February 16, at 2:00 pm at the Environmental Center, Len and Adrienne Swenson will feature Environmental and Peace Politics via the Sierra Club.

Further monthly sessions will feature Ken Stocking and Trees, George Ellman and Transportation, Bill Kortum and Wastewater, Chuck Rhinehart and COAAST, Marty Griffin and Gravel Mining, and others.
