Annual Fund Appeal: Members Making A Difference! Melanie Matway | |
|
Thanks to the generosity of Redwood Chapter members during our Annual Fund Appeal, many of our 2004 conservation priorities are receiving critical funding. Your contributions go toward mailings and other means of educating members, environmental studies, legal actions, and the endorsement of candidates and ballot measures. We could not do this without your support! This year's Annual Fund Appeal will go out in March 2005. The earlier mailing will give us much needed funding sooner in the year. No donation is too small. As before, all donations made during our Annual Fund Appeal will stay within Redwood Chapter with a portion of the money going back to Groups for the funding of even more localized conservation work. When you receive your mailing, please consider signing up for our E-mail Alerts to receive information on local environmental events and quickly developing issues via e-mail. |
And, of course, your Sierra Club is always looking for volunteers. If you would like to know more about getting involved with your local Group, let us know by checking the reply card's contact box. You may make either tax-deductible or non-deductible contributions. Tax-deductible donations are made to the Sierra Club's Foundation account and go toward supporting public education, research and public interest litigation. Non-deductible donations support local, citizen-based, conservation advocacy and lobbying programs. This is a once-a-year appeal to Redwood Chapter members to invest in the environment on a local level. So look for your mailing in March and PLEASE consider making your most generous contribution. Your gift will be greatly appreciated and wisely spent toward making a difference here at home. |
