Solar Energy Promoter: Are you interested in promoting solar energy and have some time to assist in making solar permits more affordable in your area? We are teaming up with Loma Prieta Chapter to help expand their successful solar permit fee campaign state wide. We are looking for a few volunteers from throughout the Redwood Chapter to help with this effort. The campaign is set up to train people and provides lots of support and assistance. Sonoma Group Environmental Forum Committee: Vice-chair and Committee members needed. Help plan the monthly meetings for the Sierra Club. Design speakers and programs. Create newsletter write ups and meet exciting environmental advocates throughout our community. 1-6 hours per month (except August and December). PLEASE NOTE...there is no Forum this February, because more help is needed for there to be a forum most months! YOUR help is NEEDED. Sonoma Group Water Committee: Help the Sonoma Group Water Committee! HELP SAVE WATER. Work with the Committee on water issues. We are currently working to advance Rainwater Harvesting and Water Reuse in our area. The water committee could use an editorial writer to help explain how people can collect and use rainwater to save this precious resource. The time requirement is limited. Help protect the quality of our water for people, wildlife, fish and other aquatic life. Promote water conservation and intelligent reuse.
