"Would You Like To Help?" Anne Hudgins | |
|
Do you have a sense of humor? Do you enjoy being with people who share your interests? Are you concerned about the loss of forests, the quality of your drinking water, or the purity of the fruits and vegetables you feed your family? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then you qualify to serve on the Executive Committee of the Sonoma Group of the Sierra Club. Volunteering is an essential component of being a member of the Sierra Club if you value our environment and want to ensure that our children and grandchildren will inherit a safe and beautiful world. If you have participated in the many free "Outings" sponsored by the Sonoma Group; if you have attended and enjoyed the monthly Environmental Forums at the Environmental Center in downtown Santa Rosa; or if you are a part of our "Singles" group potluck parties, you are a direct recipient of the many benefits of being a Sierra Club member. You can demonstrate your appreciation by volunteering NOW to serve on one of our many committees. We need your help to keep growing and keep going! There is something for everyone to do. |
Find your niche and win the satisfaction which comes from knowing you have donated your time to a worthy cause. No experience necessary; learn by doing, and have fun doing it. Visit one of our meetings:
Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Diana Nasser, at diananas@sonic.net, or call 544-7651. It's good for you! Good for you! For joining other groups, see the Sonoma Group homepage. |
