The Redwood Chapter Outing's Program offered members many events over the summer months. Consider visiting our Clair Tappaan Lodge this winter, joining one of the winter hut trips or a fall backpack. Needed are more winter leaders. Would you consider assisting on a winter trip and co-leading next year? We will be saying goodbye to Roger Lamb early next year as he journeys on to Washington. We will miss him. So where are our replacements? Many of us have been leading for years and we need new energy in our program.

Sierra Club has many conservation issues that partner with outings. Thanks to all of you who led a conservation outing this year. We will be following the Hearst Corporation's conservation deal. Hope you are a part of the campaign to save our great coastal places.
