2004 Redwood Chapter
and Group Election

Call for Nominations
For Group and Chapter
Executive Committees

Executive Committee (ExCom) candidates are being sought at both the Chapter and Group levels. Step forward to work with other Sierra Club members and activists to enhance your and the publics knowledge on key conservation issues and to help organize initiatives to protect our environment!

ExCom members set policies on local issues, oversee finances, make political endorsements and review and take action on regional concerns. The Redwood Chapter ExCom is the governing body for the six regional Groups in northwest California.

Chapter ExCom meetings are typically held every two months; Group Excom meetings vary but are held in principle once a month. Much of the business of the Groups and Chapter is conducted via e-mail.

Elected ExCom members will serve a two year term beginning in January 2005. Elections will be held in December, 2004. Members are urged to apply for nomination to their Group or Chapter ExCom.

To apply, or to receive more information, please contact a Chapter or Group Nominating Committee Chair:
