The Clean Money Campaign is working to make government accountable to the voters! Come hear how A.B.583 sets up public financing for all statewide and legislative races in California. It is patterned after the successful and popular systems working in other states. A favorite with voters and candidates alike, the California Clean Money Campaign allows more good people with new ideas to run for office. It insures candidates spend more time listening to voters rather than fundraising. It guarantees officeholders have no strings attached and can resist special interest pressures. It is an opportunity to improve voter confidence in government. We need to secure our democracy. Clean Money means more substantive debate, a level playing field, and elected officials who are accountable to voters, not big money donors. Our speaker believes, this 'is the reform that makes all other reforms possible'. Come learn more about this campaign!
