Political Committee: Be in the middle of election action! Join the committee that meets candidates for local elections, interviews and evaluates their beliefs and performances and finally leads the Sierra Club in the support of those candidates who back strong environmental legislation. Media maven for Redwood Chapter: We need someone to help issue press releases and to make media contacts. Prefer media/journalism experience, but will train. Gravel Mining "Co-Lead"/Riparian Protection "Lead"/Water Conservation "Lead" or researcher on any or all: Do you love the Russian River or are you interested in protecting our water quality for people, wildlife and fish? Please volunteer to help the Water Committee with gravel mining and riparian/water recharge areas protection or with promoting water conservation and re-use in our county. We need your help!
