Napa outings leaders offer a wide variety of outings that are safe, fun, and inspired.

Our outings leaders are trained in first aid. They carry first aid kits.

To participate in a Sierra Club Outing you must sign a Liability Waiver (MS-Word) (PDF). Car Pooling is encouraged to conserve resources. Such arrangements are made by the participants, who assume the risk. The Sierra Club does not insure car pooling and assumes no liability for it.

SPRING OUTINGS

Sat., Mar. 31 - Napa Group Mt. Tam Day Hike & Beach Walk.
Mt. Tamalpais, from Mountain Home Inn to Stinson Beach, one-way, with a West Marin Stagecoach shuttle, about 7 miles, almost entirely flat or down slope, with an optional beach walk at the end, a little over 2 miles, flat, or just relax and enjoy. The pace will be just a bit on the slow side of Moderate, and there will be lunch at a favorite hilltop with a great view. Bring lunch and liquids.  Bring exact bus fare ($2).  Class: M-7-A. Sat., May 12 – Napa Group Jack London State Park Day Hike
This may be our last chance to hike Jack London State Historic Park before it closes.  After a drive through scenic Sonoma Valley, we'll go end-to-end through this delightful park near Santa Rosa, featuring historic sites, shady trails, spring wildflowers, peaceful lakes, and panoramic views.  8 mi., 1500 ft gain on well-maintained trails.  Bring lunch and liquids.  Class: M-9-B. Sun. May 13 – Napa Group. Mothers Day at Tuteur Ranch.
Join our esteemed guide John Tuteur for this year's annual hike through the east Napa rolling hills and ranchlands to a spectacular overlook of San Pablo Bay.  Class H-8-B.  Bring clothes for changing weather, hiking boots, lunch, and water.  This hike is co-sponsored by the Land Trust of Napa County.  By reservation only.  Leader Chip Bouril, 707-944-2058, csbouril@napanet.net.
